Elvis Presley’s 1962 private jet has found a new home, and the interior is absolutely stunning!

Elvis Presley was a talented performer with a gorgeous voice, but he was also more than that. In particular when it came to his jet, he had exquisite taste and design.

In 1962, Elvis received his personal aircraft, a Lockheed Jetstar model that had been specially built to his requirements and featured mahogany paneling, plush crimson velvet couches, and plush carpeting. Even the most discerning critic would be amazed by the interior’s splendor.

Elvis Presley’s airplane remained dormant for more than three decades before it was turned into a well-liked tourist destination in Roswell, New Mexico, after he passed away in 1977.

But it was recently auctioned off in Florida for the astounding sum of $260,000 to a caller claiming to be an Elvis fan. This aircraft went on to become a recognizable representation of the King of Rock’s legacy and flawless sense of style.

When Elvis and his father, Vernon Presley, first took flight in their personal aircraft, they must have felt exhilarated and awestruck.

Nothing has been overlooked in order to give travelers the ideal trip experience. In fact, Elvis showed off his extraordinary design talent and attention to detail even in the air. It’s not surprising that his plane evolved into an iconic part of his legacy years after his passing.

After his daughter, Lisa Marie, Elvis Presley’s aircraft has lain dormant in a remote area of New Mexico for more than three decades.

The plane is still in very good condition despite the passage of time, despite its exterior losing its glamorous appeal and developing a slight red tint.

One is immediately taken aback by the lavish decor when entering this unique aviation history. Traditional oak paneling covers the interior walls. The most opulent crimson velvet imaginable covers the seating.

It’s impossible to help but picture the King of Rock relaxing in one of these chairs while donning a striking pair of sunglasses and living it up.

The seating area is spacious and comfortable, with room for people to spread their legs while traveling.

There is a tiny kitchen behind the main dining area. Despite being small, the kitchen is equipped with all the tools you could possibly need to prepare food, including an old microwave.

One can’t help but think of Elvis preparing one of his famous sandwiches, a special blend of peanut butter, mayonnaise, bacon, and banana, warming it in the microwave before indulging in the delicious treat.

With the release of this album, Elvis cemented his position as the undisputed king of rock and roll and created a legacy of unmatched luxury and style.

The airplane bathroom is beautiful, but it could use more elegant features like velvet and a more high-end sink. But compared to the cramped restrooms on charter planes, it is a significant improvement.

The experience was enhanced by the chance encounter I had with Elvis, who was dressed to the nines for the holiday season.

The winning bid for the plane was $260,000 and it was sold at auction on January 8 at the Mecum Kissimmee Collector Car Auction in Florida.

The prospective owner made the decision to place their bids over the phone in secret. We’re eager to follow the aircraft’s future endeavors because this sale marks an important milestone for it.
