Maren Morris Claps Back at Tucker Carlson for Labeling Her a ‘Lunatic

Talented country star Maren Morris had a witty response to Fox News host Tucker Carlson. In a recent interview with Jason Aldean’s wife, Brittany Aldean, Carlson called Morris “crazy” and a “fake country singer” because of his fling with Brittany. Instead of getting angry, Morris decided to have fun.

He posted a screenshot of Carlson’s interview caption on his social media profile with the caption “#NewProfilePic.” The caption was accompanied by a laughing emoji of stars involved in an online feud: Chrissy Teigen and Cassadee Pope. Morris clearly didn’t buy Carlson’s opinion and instead decided to find humor in the situation.

So how did this scandal start? On August 23, Britney Aldean posted a makeup video with a controversial caption. She thanked her parents for not changing her gender during her “male phase” and expressed her love for a female lifestyle. These comments were considered transphobic by many.

In response to the backlash, Brittany used her Instagram stories to share her thoughts on transgender youth and their rights to gender-affirming treatment. He opposed the promotion of what he called “gender-affirmation therapy” because he believed it was “genital mutilation” of children.

Brittany said some parents are too concerned with social acceptance and are willing to make life-changing decisions for their young children without considering the long-term consequences. She expressed her gratitude that her parents allowed her to explore her tomboy phase without pressuring her to change her gender.

Of course, those comments drew criticism from Morris, Pope and others in the country music community. On Twitter, the Pope emphasized the importance of inclusivity and likened the “men phase” to a person trying to transition. Morris joined him, pointing out that it’s not hard to respect people and avoid being “stupid”.

But Brittany insisted her words were taken out of context. When she appeared on Carlson’s show, she repeatedly said she was only advocating for the welfare of the child. She believes that children should not be allowed to make life-changing decisions about their gender at a young age because they are not mature enough to fully understand the consequences. He pointed out that there are age restrictions on activities such as smoking, driving and military service and asked why people think gender identity is an exception.

For more information on transgender issues, it’s important to note that being transgender means that a person’s gender identity does not match the gender they were assigned at birth. It is important to understand that gender identity is not the same as gender expression.

Before puberty, transgender children may begin a social transition, which may include changes such as adopting new names and pronouns or adjusting their style to match their real identity. There may also be legal changes to the ID card.

It is important to note that medical guidelines generally recommend that children not be given puberty blockers or hormone treatments until they reach puberty and do not recommend sex reassignment surgery until age 18.
