It’s hard to believe that Macaulay Culkin is already over 40 years old. When most of us think of this actor, we automatically think of him appearing as a child in the Home Alone movies. Macaulay Culkin is in the news again today, but this time for a different reason.
Although he tends to keep to himself and has a private life, it’s hard not to know when a child actor will have a child. He and fiancee Brenda Song, 34, are expecting their second child, born just before Christmas. His name is Carson, but it’s surprising that most people don’t even know about his pregnancy.
Culkin and his two sons, Dakota, are now called Carson, named after Culkin’s late sister, who died in 2008. Even Dakota’s birth was a surprise to many, as it was kept secret until she finally released a statement saying she was thrilled. The two have been dating since 2017 and got engaged in 2022, shortly after Dakota was born. Ms. Song said her relationship was great because she loved spending her life with him.
He admits to her that he was waiting for the other shoe to drop, but then he realized he was up to something good.
Both Culkin and her dddSong are very practical when it comes to raising children. Although they prefer to support their family rather than hire a nanny, Brenda’s mother has been helping them since Dakota was born.
Brenda also talked about the importance of communication to them. She said they both have responsibilities, but they try to be flexible in their communication and deepen their intimacy.
“When you and your partner have a child, you probably don’t have the patience to be civil to each other, especially in the first few months,” she said. She added: “When you need help, it’s really important to be social. Don’t set the responsibility, just feel it.
After Culkin split from his partner in 2017, some said he was no longer interested in being in a relationship. Brenda came into Culkin’s life during the filming of Changeland, and they quickly became a couple. Despite both being young stars and facing hardships in their youth, this common experience bonded them.
