Keith Urban recently revealed that his father was in hospice care. At the beginning of an exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, the singer spoke about the struggles his father continues to face.
He told The Tennessean: “If he does, he probably only has a few weeks left. I’ve only been doing this for a few days.
This all happened at a very strange time. This is typical of a career that experiences extreme ups and downs at the same time. So [the exhibition] is a little bittersweet. Because [my father] was the catalyst for all of this. My father is the person who inspired me to live in America. »
Keith Urban’s “So Far” exhibition features costumes made by his father that he wore in previous performances. Reflecting on his father’s influence, he said, “My father always thought it was important for me to dress like an artist, so a lot of these costumes were made by my father with the help of my mother, especially my father.” It was something,” he said. He really thought I should dress well and look like an artist.
