Country singer Garth Brooks’ shocking admission shocked a lot of fans of the genre. On his most recent endeavor, the artist teamed up with Bud Light. The musician has decided to make the beer available at his restaurant in Nashville.
The performer gave an explanation for his choice, saying that his bar would be a haven of inclusivity and togetherness with “every brand of beer” available. Even further, he called Bud Light drinkers “a**holes” for drinking other types of beer. ”.
People are currently incensed with the artist for making this statement. Michelle, a longtime admirer of the artist, is hurt by his most recent remarks. “Welcome to the boycott,” she said as she put a cap on her tweet. ”.
Others were outraged and vowed to stop listening to his music and visiting his bar. “My trash bin is filled…I got rid of everything with Garth Brooks’ name on it,” one user tweeted. ”.
By claiming that he valued and wanted to support diversity, Brooks made an attempt to defend his behavior. “I enjoy variety. Everyone is welcomed because everyone is included, he said.
The debate over Bud Light started in April of this year. To transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, the beer company sent some cans. The influencer then recorded videos in which she appeared as Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany’s and discussed the beers as well as the possibility of winning money through the company’s sweepstakes.
People expressed their displeasure with the beer company’s collaboration and found it sad that they gave a trans influencer a platform. Country musician Travis Tritt threatened to yank Anheuser-Busch (the maker of Budweiser) from his tour because they sent some alcohol to a trans influencer.
