Sebastian was born at the age of 29 to two-time mother Eliana Rodriguez.
Although she and her baby were both in good health, she encountered suspicion and criticism due to the size of her baby belly, with remarks like “You look like you’re carrying twins!” and “Are you sure there isn’t another one in there?”.
While some might think that a pregnancy bump that is abnormally large indicates that the mother and the baby will have health issues, in this case, it is entirely normal for the body to grow to accommodate the developing fetus.
Rodriguez asserts that she and her son are both doing well.
Nancy Rodriguez, a health and wellness advisor from Las Vegas, Nevada, spoke to TODAY Parents about her pregnancy journey.
She enjoyed giving birth to two enormous children who each weighed 8 point three pounds. Her daughter Sofia, age 3, was 19.5″ long, while her newborn son measured 20.5″.
Rodriguez hasn’t responded in a rude manner, despite some people’s perceptions that asking about it in person is rude. She recognizes that they are interested in learning why her tummy is more notable than other mothers’.
She was 4’11” tall and shorter in the middle, which the doctors said made her stomach appear larger than usual. Two months ago, as she began the manifestation stage of labor, she first noticed physical changes in her body.
Having tried for a second child and wishing for a boy, Rodriguez was ecstatic to share the news. During her pregnancy, she had more amniotic fluid than usual.
One condition where there is excessive fluid in the womb is polyhydramnios. It occurs in 1% to 2% of pregnancies, but it rarely results in complications or early labor.
The extra liquid protects the baby by serving as a cushion and letting them move around without restriction.
Rodriguez’s womb contained a significant amount of amniotic fluid, but her doctors determined that she did not have polyhydramnios.
Dr. The extra fluid may be brought on by maternal diabetes or fetal anatomical anomalies, according to Chicago, Illinois, OBGYN Kiarra King, who was not involved in Rodriguez’s case.
Pregnancy belly swelling is not typically caused by polyhydramnios. Maternal obesity, diastasis recti, a condition in which the abdominal muscles are pulled apart from previous pregnancies, and macrosomia are common causes of this. Fortunately, none of these worries applied to Rodriguez.
Alex Rodriguez claimed that she did not enjoy having bothersome questions about her pregnancy and did not desire rude remarks about her physical appearance.
She experienced intense sorrow for those who lack empathy as a believer. She spoke out against how these remarks can make women feel bad about themselves, particularly if they suffer from depression during pregnancy or after giving birth.
Rodriguez stressed the significance of exhibiting compassion and respect, understanding that these judgmental statements could cause people pain and despair.
