Although she is not aware of it, Matthew Stewart has been keeping his grandmother in mind as he builds his new house. So when they take a drive, she will be in for a big surprise.
In a video on Instagram that has received a lot of attention and received over 100k views and 25k likes, Matthew and grandma Bobbe, as he likes to call her, are seen driving up to a construction site.
Matthew casually remarks that “your sitting room is going to be upfront right there” and that “her bedroom is going to be in the back” while they are sitting in the car in front of a house.
While asking if it could happen right away, Grandma Bobbe, who is incoherent, only gestures in the direction of the house. She only says that she is happy that someone wants her despite how overwhelmed she is.
In a humorous exchange between his grandmother and grandson, Matthew responds, “Of course, we want you… I guess. The grandmother simply chuckles and says that she has packed and is ready to move into their new home. The grandmother is well-known online.
There are a ton of videos of the grandmother and the two acting snarky about one another on the “GB and ME” Instagram page. In a second heartfelt video, Mathew simply tells her that he loves her.
She tells her grandson that because she is so moved by his love, she could not possibly love him any more and that he is like her own son. As their emotional states intensify toward the end of the video, they affirm their love for one another. In all honesty, nothing can brighten your day more than a grandmother’s love.
