Kind-hearted Koger Kid Steps in When Elderly Man Runs Out of Food Money

Teo Jordan, a senior at Holmes High School and employee at Kroger, showed that no good deed goes unappreciated in his community by assisting a man with his grocery bill.

Teo, 18, bags groceries at the Covington, Kentucky, Kroger after school. The teen had only recently begun working there as he is trying to save enough cash to purchase a car.

While he was working the checkout line, he saw an elderly man who was about to pay for his purchases but couldn’t afford to carry everything home.

The elderly man was forced to make the difficult decision to tell the cashier that he would need to return some of the merchandise because the total was more than $100.
