Starring alongside Tom Hanks in iconic films such as Sleepless in Seattle and You’ve Got Mail.
She’s faded from the limelight a little.

Things were not always so rosy behind the scenes.
In fact, there have been some murky instances in her love life over the years.
Including a truly scandalous affair that almost ended her career …
Ryan was famously married to Dennis Quaid in the ’90s.
You may know him better as the dad from The Parent Trap.
The two tied the knot in 1991.
And they share a twenty-eight-year-old son called Jack.
But behind the scenes, the marriage was far from perfect.
And scandal struck the golden couple in the year 2000.
Meg broke up the marriage with an affair that year.
After meeting none other than Russell Crowe on set of Proof of Life.
Crowe is an actor from New Zealand.
He was having a similarly successful period in his career when he met Ryan …
Apparently, the two had instant chemistry.
Meg fell into a deep infatuation with the Kiwi hunk.
And it was thanks to this crush that she eventually decided to end her marriage.
The affair was such a scandal that Meg eventually decided not to go on the movie’s press tour in case she was asked any awkward questions about it.
“This thing happened [her affair with Crowe] and I was all over the tabloids and I walked through the lobby and the place stopped,” she told The Guardian in 2003.
“People stopped talking and stared at me. And then I got to the elevator and instead of falling apart and going, ‘Ooh,’ I just started laughing.”
“This thing that people are so afraid of all the time – public censure or disapproval – has no power if you know yourself.”
The affair was short lived, not even lasting for year.
But this week, Meg has hit headlines for a different reason …
Her appearance!
She was spotted in public and has sparked serious surgery rumors.
“WTF has Meg Ryan done to her face?!” one baffled fan asked.
“Is that really Meg Ryan? If so that’s such a shame and incredibly sad,” another added.
“Her and Madonna obviously have the same plastic surgeon,” a third joked.
