On May 6, 2018, Angelica was born, and she was absolutely beautiful. She had lovely eyes, a charming button nose, and a lovely heart-shaped port wine stain on her face.
Angelica’s mother, Marianna Bowering, noted that while many of her friends and family members are aware of Angelica’s birthmark, some people still feel the need to comment on her daughter’s appearance.
The worst internet comment, according to Bowering, was when someone asked if she had been forced to put her face on a skillet.
Marianna revealed that her daughter had received unkind remarks, including being referred to as “hideous” and a “defect.”. The family’s problems were made worse by the brutality and insensitivity of these statements, but their perseverance and determination to get through them led to a stunning turn of events.
Bowering is doing everything in her power to make sure Angelica realizes as she gets older that despite the insults, she is beautiful just the way she is.
The 27-year-old mother recently made the decision to use cosmetics to replicate the birthmark of her 5-year-old daughter on her face.
Bowering reportedly stated, “I got the idea from vascular birthmark awareness day when they encourage people to paint a heart on the cheeks,” according to The Epoch Times. I first made a heart with makeup, but I changed my mind and went outside to make Angelica’s port wine stain.
Marianna became upset when some people suggested that her child’s facial spots would fade with time while others suggested that she could conceal them with makeup if she so desired.
The mother’s distress and annoyance were only increased by these remarks as she questioned why her daughter should be made to hide her natural beauty rather than embrace it.
It served as a sobering reminder of the terrible realities that await those who fall short of beauty’s standards. But it also made a point of valuing acceptance and love for everyone, regardless of appearance.
Bowering and her husband didn’t think their daughter should have been ashamed of her birthmark from the start. They make an effort to ensure that they are aware of the need to celebrate it.
Bowering “made it shine” by applying glitter to Angelica’s port wine stain before the matching “birthmark.”. ”.
Even though Bowering assured TODAY that Angelica is in good health, kids with port wine stains on their faces run the risk of developing serious health problems.
According to Bowering, tests reveal that Angelica is completely healthy. “We need regular check-ups, especially for her eyes because glaucoma could be an issue. ”.
Angelica, you are absolutely stunning. Never give anyone else the benefit of the doubt.
Marianna, I appreciate you being a great mother and telling your child that her birthmark is normal all the time.
