Actress Salma Hayek is no stranger to showing off her stunning figure.
But recently, she accidentally revealed a little more than she bargained for.
Flashing fans online as she danced, celebrating her incredible Instagram milestone.
The actress has hit an impressive number of followers on the social media app.
But before we get into that, let’s take it right back…
Raised in Mexico, Hayek started her career as an actress at the young age of twelve…
She attended the Academy of the Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau, Louisiana.
This was quite rare because the majority of working-class families in Mexico wouldn’t have had the resources to fund their child in an American acting school.
But luckily, this put her on the road to success.
She began her career in Mexico…
Hayek landed the title role in Teresa (1989), a successful Mexican telenovela that rocketed her to stardom in Mexico.
She then went on to star in the romantic drama El Callejón de los Milagros in 1995, later being nominated for an Ariel Award.
She went on to study acting under Stella Adler — but as a woman with limited English and a diagnosis of dyslexia, this proved to be extremely challenging.
However, she soon established herself in Hollywood.
After a couple of minor roles, the actress landed a small but major role in the 1996 cult classic From Dusk Till Dawn alongside George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino.
This saw Hayek take on the character Santanico Pandemonium…
This was actually a tribute to a Mexican horror movie of the same name from 1975.
Hayek was perfect for the part.
I mean who could pull off playing a 102-year-old vampire queen better?
After this hit performance, Hayek opened the doors to Hollywood.
And her first-star billing came the following year.
She landed a big role in Fool’s Rush In alongside Matthew Perry.
These roles gave Hayek a lot of exposure.
And subsequently, she was a hot topic in every director’s book…
She went on to work in movies such as Breaking Up (1997), Dogma (1990), and Wild Wild West (1999).
Her career only skyrocketed from there…
She also starred in the movie, Frida, which was critically acclaimed.
In more recent times, Hayek played the wife of Adam Sandler’s character in Grown Ups…
And it’s recently been announced that she’s starring in a brand new Netflix feature film alongside Anne Hathaway.
The film is based on the novel by Kōtarō Isaka…
The same writer adapted his works for the hit movie Bullet Train.
So it’s set to be a hit!
But her talents don’t end there.
The actress has also tried her hand at voice work…
She co-starred with Antonio Banderas in the Shrek spin-off film Puss in Boots.
So there’s no denying that Hayek is a Hollywood icon…

Her last bikini shot, posted on September 2, got over 7 million likes.
“I’m glad I took a lot of pictures, I have no shame on it, because it was the first week of the vacation,” Hayek shared.
“I saved my pictures; I’m not in the same condition today, and I’m spreading the love out like every two weeks.”
“I’m going to put up another one. I’m almost running out of them!
“People are sick of it, but I’m not going to let them take a break,” she continued.
“They’re going to think I’m wearing a bikini every day. No, they’re all from the same location,” Hayek revealed.
She’s definitely the queen of the bikini selfie on Instagram!
And she recently opened up about her beauty routine.
Sharing a controversial skincare tip …
A fan asked on Twitter: “What is Salma Hayek’s skincare routine? That woman is in her 50s and looks amazing.”
And luckily for us, she actually responded!
“My grandmother taught me to never wash my face in the morning. It’s not disgusting guys,” she revealed.
She went on: “What happens at night is your skin produces all the oils that your skin needs to look youthful.
“It regenerates. So, wash your skin really great at night but don’t wash the hard work off your skin in the morning.”
But that’s not the only thing that shocked fans.
The star recently accidentally flashed fans as she celebrated hitting a whopping 24 million followers on Instagram.
She could be seen dancing in a robe on Instagram Live, when all of a sudden it went loose.
“Salma just blessed us with an unexpected show during her IG Live dance.
“Accidentally flashed those baddies, but we ain’t complaining. Keep doing you, Salma,” one fan wrote.
“And we all follow you for two gigantic reasons…hahaha,” another joked.
Hayek posted the video, captioning it: “4 million followers, 24 million reasons to smile 😄 Thank you all for joining me on this wild ride! ❤️🙏 I cannot contain my excitement & gratitude.”

His mom, Drena De Niro, shared the news of his passing in a heartbreaking social media post.
“My beautiful sweet angel. I have loved you beyond words or description from the moment I felt you in my belly.
“You have been my joy my heart and all that was ever pure and real in my life. I wish I was with you right now. I wish I was with you.
“I don’t know how to live without you but I’ll try to go on and spread the love and light that you so made me feel in getting to be your mama. You were so deeply loved and appreciated and I wish that love alone could have saved you.
Leandro’s father, artist Carlos Mare, posted a blacked out image on his Instagram page, but has not shared any further comment.
And now, Robert De Niro has spoken out.
In a statement today, the actor said: ‘I’m deeply distressed by the passing of my beloved grandson Leo.
‘We’re greatly appreciative of the condolences from everyone. We ask that we please be given privacy to grieve our loss of Leo.’
Our thoughts are with their family and friends at this difficult time.
