Born Anna Mae Bullock in Nutbush, Tennessee, Tina Turner’s illustrious career spanned over six decades, leaving an enduring imprint on the music world. Her hits like “Proud Mary” and “What’s Love Got To Do With It” resonated globally, showcasing her unmatched charisma and dynamic stage presence. Turner retired from touring in 2008, yet her impact on fans persists through cherished memories.
Turner garnered numerous accolades during her career, including eight Grammy Awards and stars on both the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the St Louis Walk of Fame. Her autobiography, “I, Tina,” was adapted into the acclaimed 1993 film “What’s Love Got To Do With It,” highlighting her tumultuous relationship with Ike Turner. In 2013, Turner married music executive Erwin Bach in a Swiss civil ceremony, marking a joyful new chapter after her tumultuous first marriage to Ike Turner, which ended in 1978.
