The daughter of Olivia Newton-only John, Chloe Lattanzi, speaks out about her mother’s last days on Earth before she passed away in August 2022.
In a recent interview with Koda Kotb, Lattanzi discussed her mother’s final words as well as how Newton-John maintained her composure up until the point where she was unable to speak.
She could only address me as “my sunshine,” Lattanzi said, according to Today. And just before she lost her ability to speak, she was cracking jokes. ”.
After a protracted battle with breast cancer, the well-known actress and original Grease star passed away. At the time, she was 73 years old.
She sobbed, “I love my mom more than anything.”.

Nevertheless, Lattanzi claims that since her mother’s passing six months ago, her sizable fan base has supported her during some of her most trying times.

The interview with Lattanzi is delivered on the same day that Newton-rendition John’s of Jolene is made public. One of the final songs she recorded before passing away was a Newton-duet John’s collaboration with Dolly Parton.
John Easterling, Olivia’s husband, was present at the Lattanzi interview and claimed that he still speaks aloud to his late wife. “I have daily thoughts of Olivia. I am thankful for the 15 years I had this remarkable human being in my life, though, every day. ”.
The two were wed in 2008. Easterling views Olivia as his true soul mate.
Following her passing, Newton-John’s loved co-stars and family expressed how much she will be missed.
One of the co-stars was Stockard Channing. If you don’t recall, Channing played Rizzo opposite Newton-John in the movie.

Along with Channing, Didi Conn also released a statement as Frenchy. Conn, Newton-John’s lifelong friend, claimed that Olivia was unable to walk during her final days.
She said she was no longer able to walk and needed full-time care, but her husband John and daughter Chloe were always there and she said they were just so utterly devoted. ”.
Conn then disclosed the contents of her final correspondence with Olivia. She told Olivia, “I hope you know you’re in my heart, always,” in a text message the last time she and she spoke, according to The Mirror. You are in mine, she continued. That was our last message, delivered on July 5th. Since Olivia cared so much, her passing is extremely personal to me and many others. Her heart was big. ”.
John Travolta also issued a somber statement following Olivia’s passing. “Olivia, you improved all of our lives so much.
